Good news for students in Sarawak with the recent achievement of the partner university of FAME International College (FAME), the University of Cumbria (UoC), which has been ranked top 10 worldwide in providing quality education. The UoC is ranked 8th out of 676 participating universities worldwide according to Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, and 1st in the UK for Quality Education, UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The THE Impact Rankings are designed to shine a light on the commitment of universities around the world to making a positive social and economic impact within their communities and globally.
FAME started collaborating with UoC 7 years ago, and entered into formal 3+0 collaboration since January 2016. The 2 UoC degree programmes in business and accountancy are approved by Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Since then, students can complete their UoC UK degree study in FAME campus (Kuching), with UK education system and quality. Over the years, FAME and UoC has produced many excellent graduates, and they are serving in various industries, whilst some embarked on their own business.
