On July 3, 2026, a lucky group of IT, Software Engineering, and Computer Science students from FAME International College did exactly that. They traded their lecture halls for a day to step into the headquarters of Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd. (SAINS).
This wasn’t just a standard field trip. It was a backstage pass to the real world of tech. Students got to see firsthand how the coding, networking, and system designs they learn in class actually power public services and major organizational operations across Sarawak.
The best part? The exclusive sharing session with the pros. The team at SAINS opened up about the latest digital solutions, upcoming innovations, and—most importantly for our future graduates—the incredible career opportunities waiting in the technology sector. It completely bridged the gap between textbooks and real-world tech careers.
