KUCHING: Fame International College (FIC) is embarking on a transformation plan to achieve university college status and embrace 21st century learning approaches in the next five years. Fame International College chief executive officer (CEO) David Chew said this during the college’s 20th anniversary dinner at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here on Saturday. “As of now, we have invested about RM700,000 into various technology solutions to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness of work for the benefit of students and parents,” he said. He shared that the college classrooms teaching and learning have been equipped with an e-Learning platform which enables students to obtain their lecture notes, attend assessments and interact with peer or lecturers online. A new network will also be implemented starting Jan 2019 to provide full Wifi coverage to the entire campus.
